# Trending & Boosts

Trending & Boost Feature

Overview

In Phase Two of the PixelPump ecosystem, we introduce the Trending & Boost feature, designed to increase user engagement and platform revenue. This feature allows creators and investors to enhance the visibility of their pixel tokens by paying for boosted placement on the platform’s Trending Page. Similar to trending and boost functions on Dextools, this mechanism provides an opportunity for projects to gain exposure, attract more buyers, and drive liquidity.

Functionality • Boosting a Pixel Token: Users can choose to boost their pixel token by paying a fee in SOL. • Trending Page Placement: Boosted tokens will appear in a dedicated Trending Section on the PixelPump marketplace, offering maximum visibility to potential investors and traders. • Boost Duration & Tiers: The duration and prominence of the boost will depend on the amount paid. Higher payments secure longer exposure and higher-ranking positions.

Revenue Generation

The Trending & Boost feature serves as a revenue stream for the platform by monetizing visibility. The fees collected from boosts will be allocated as follows:

1. Staking Rewards: The platform revenue will be distributed as before, however with increased volume. 30% of all platform revenue will be divided among stakers of $PXP.
2. Burn Mechanism: The other 20% of platform revenue will be used to to buy back $PXP and burn to increase the native’s token value.

Benefits • For Creators & Investors: Provides an easy way to market and promote new pixel tokens, increasing chances of higher adoption and trading volume. • For Traders & Collectors: Enables discovery of trending and potentially valuable pixel tokens with high engagement. • For the Platform: Increases user activity, strengthens the token economy, and generates sustainable revenue streams.

By implementing the Trending & Boost feature, PixelPump enhances the overall ecosystem, driving visibility for creators while ensuring sustainable platform growth and token utility.
